The IASIS device and software use information derived from EEG (direct electrical measurement of brainwaves) to deliver imperceptible but precise electrical impulses to various areas of the brain. This is technically known as LIP-tES (low-intensity pulse-based transcranial electrical stimulation).
These impulses retrain rigid and dysfunctional patterns, allowing the brain to “reboot” and reorganize with more appropriate and flexible patterns.

While you are seated, five lightweight EEG electrodes will be placed at different areas on your face (near the hairline) and neck. The areas will first be cleaned off, and then a conductive paste will be applied to hold the electrodes in place. The position of the electrodes may vary through the course of treatment and in subsequent sessions.
The entire session, from start to finish, will be up to 45 minutes after the initial 90-minute initial consultation. There are numerous different settings and sensitivity levels that may be selected, depending on the responses to questions the IASIS Certified Provider asks before the session, as well as how one responds during or after the session.
The average number of sessions varies depending on the acuity of one’s condition. Most people notice initial changes within the first five to ten sessions.
