Ok…..eight glasses of water each day will keep us hydrated, right??? Not necessarily! It depends on what type of water we’re drinking! Hydration is far beyond drinking water.
The human body is made up of 98.9% water molecules (by molecules) and about 80% water (by mass), and naturally produces 1 to 1.5 liters of water each day (metabolic water). If we only drink filtered water, there is a good chance we have chronic dehydration, which can lead to chronic inflammation. Filtering our water removes harmful chemicals, but it also removes helpful minerals. It is important to add the minerals back into the water we drink for proper hydration.
Join Dr. Hotze today as he discusses one of the many ways we can stay healthy, energetic, and enthusiastic for life! He is joined by special guest and hydration expert, Tracy Duhs, who owns The Sanctuary Wellness Experience in San Diego, CA. Tracy is the authority on hydration and has devoted her career to the science of hydration.
