Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDI) is an allergy treatment available for chemical, environmental, and food sensitivities.

I was taking allergy shots for a number of years. I had 2 asthma inhalers that I used twice daily, a nightly asthma pill, and one emergency inhaler…and sinus infections every 6 to 8 weeks, and steroids twice a year so I could breathe. Now, it’s been at least 2 years (since I’ve used) the inhaler.

LDI can be safely used in both adults and children.

LDI Addresses Over 300 Allergens

LDI treatment is a unique therapy that has much broader effects, acts faster and is longer lasting than conventional allergy treatments. Rather than the 20–40 inhalant allergens in allergy drops and shots, LDI desensitizes you to more than 300 common airborne irritants, foods and chemicals.

LDI can be used for the treatment of a broad range of allergies, sensitivities and related symptoms, including the following:

• Respiratory: Hay fever, asthma, chronic rhinitis, sinusitis, cough, ear infections and postnasal drip.
• Skin: Eczema, hives and itchy skin.

How Does LDI Work?

We are administering LDI sublingually (under the tongue), which means you can take your dose at home! This is not a one-size-fits-all therapy; it requires feedback from you to be successful. Our goal with LDI treatment is total resolution of your allergy symptoms by adjusting your next dose, based on what you report after each administration, until we find your optimal dose.
