Dr. Hotze on Causes of Weight Gain and Keys to Weight Loss
August 3, 2015
Are you struggling to lose weight no matter what you do? Dr. Hotze reveals the underlying causes of weight gain and keys to weight loss.
Transcription of Dr. Steven Hotze’s video on weight loss:
Hello, I’m Dr. Steve Hotze. Are you struggling with your weight and no matter what you do,
you can’t seem to lose it? 67% of Americans are overweight. Half of those, that’s 34% of
adults, are obese. They can’t seem to lose weight no matter what they do, so what’s the
problem?
Well, the processed foods we eat are high in carbohydrates and sugar. The body converts these to fat, leading to weight gain. Hormones, especially thyroid hormones, control your body’s ability to burn fat and produce energy. If you don’t get enough thyroid hormones into your cells, then your metabolism slows down and you gain weight.
Weight gain can also be caused by chemical toxins in the environment. Toxins are found in
our air, food, drinks, and in our body lotions that we slather on our body, particularly you
ladies. Your body stores the toxins in fat cells. Toxin buildup causes you to make more fat
cells, leading to weight gain.
To lose real fat you need to replenish and balance your declining hormones. You should eat whole foods, vegetables and fruits. You should also detoxify your body using a good vitamin and mineral detoxification program.
Do you want to get rid of the fat and lose weight? Give us a call. We’d be glad to help you get on a path of health and wellness and help you lose that weight.
