Are Symptoms of Thyroid Problems Affecting Your Family?
December 1, 2014
Dear Santa,
Can you please make my mommy well for Christmas? She doesn’t smile anymore and she never laughs. She says she has headaches and doesn’t feel well. All she does is lie in bed. She can’t help me with my homework and she never plays with me anymore. I only get to see my mommy for a few minutes each day. I asked her if the doctor can fix her, but she said he can’t find anything wrong.
I miss my mommy and now I am sad all the time, too. Can you please help me? I don’t want any toys this Christmas. All I want is my mommy back.
Love,
Susie

Are you exhausted all the time and not able to take care of your family the way you would like to? Do you have symptoms of thyroid problems which prevent you from doing so? These symptoms include fatigue, headaches, weight gain, difficulty concentrating and short term memory loss, mood swings, migraines, insomnia, hair loss, dry skin, constipation, irregular menstrual cycles and depressed moods.
Have you seen doctor after doctor about your symptoms, only to be told that they can’t find anything wrong with you? Have you been told that your blood test results are normal? Symptoms of thyroid problems are commonly misdiagnosed by mainstream doctors because they rely on a single blood test that, more often than not, fails the patient. The correct way to diagnose hypothyroidism is by listening to the patient’s symptoms and evaluating clinical history.
Can you relate to Susie’s letter? Take our symptom checker health quiz to discover if your symptoms could be caused by hypothyroidism. Discover the underlying cause of your symptoms and you will be able to get your life back!
